Ed Mencke, an experienced, successful real estate Broker, believes in providing his clients with the highest level of personal service. He’ll answer your questions, listen carefully, and help you succeed. He concentrates on Mercer Island and Seattle/Eastside properties including Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, and Issaquah.
LinksHomes is here to help you and Ed find the best home for your lifestyle, tastes, and budget. For sellers, LinksHomes is about showcasing your property to motivated and qualified buyers. And yes, it also has to do with golf, Ed’s lifelong passion. If you love golf, you’ll feel right at home.
Ed is often accused of being a perfectionist, a welcome personality trait in a Realtor. He takes great care in helping you realize your financial goals and lifestyle choices. He is a Managing Broker with Windermere Real Estate in Bellevue. During the past 12 years he has sold homes from under $200,000 to over $6.6 million, and in each case he has been one hundred percent committed to his clients’ success.
Prior to selling real estate Ed was a sales executive with Levi Strauss & Co. in the Bay Area and Seattle.
Ed is a member of Mercer Island Rotary Club, serving on the International Youth Exchange committee. He has a passion for classical music and foreign travel.

Ed’s wife Nancy is a tireless entrepreneur who launched a gardening business fifteen years ago. She has a very successful web-based business that has grown far beyond the original offerings. Check her out at Amazon.com/NoThyme. In 2010 her company No Thyme Productions was incorporated, a huge milestone.
Ed’s Daughter Hillary graduated cum laude from Skidmore College in New York (class of ’07) with a degree in Theater and Dance. She
remains active in dance and acting in Seattle and recently returned from a New York engagement of “Modern Luv.” After 3 years in retailing at Nordstrom she joined her Mom’s business. Check out her blog at thyme4hillary.com

Henry, the adorable dog in the video on the front page, is the newest addition to the family!! Ed has always been a “dog person” although he helps “cat people” find houses too. Food for thought: “If we could be as trusting, loving and concerned for others as our pets are, the world would be a better place.”
